Cobram Barooga Golf Club
Located in Australia’s ‘food bowl’ and amongst some of the most striking areas of the Murray, Barooga boasts a golfing playground. An easy 2 ½ hour drive north of Melbourne the Cobram Barooga Golf Club offer two 18 hole championship standard courses and forms an integral Part of the Barooga Sporting Experience. The Barooga Sporties Group caters for all your recreational and holiday needs.
With two celebrated courses set amongst serene surrounds, both the serious and novice golfer will find a palatable challenge to suit.
The original 18 hole course is the most famous of the two offering 6176m and Par 72. Its clever design and narrow tree lined fairways provide a good test of skill for any player. Framed by majestic red gums and pines, the newly constructed greens are fast and true with clever bunkering catching wayward shots struck into the greens.
The new West Course offers wider fairways, larger greens and more slopes providing natural framing for tee shots. Slightly longer than the original course, the 18 hole West has been touted as a perfect blend of resort and modern links style.
