Barham Golf Club is quickly developing as one of the major golfing destinations along the Murray. With a choice of accommodation, we can arrange your complete golfing holiday getaway.
Course Information
The 18 hole championship course features magnificent grass greens and challenging bunkers throughout is 6140 metres, Par 73, ACR 72 men’s and 5444 metres, Par 74, AWCR 74 ladies.
With four recent new holes and greens, all designed by Ross Watson this course now rivals most other Murray River courses and should be added to your list of “must play” courses.
The front nine is gently undulating and played throughout tall timbers and creek crossings. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd are now played alongside the Eagle Creek. The 5th hole “Gallipoli” is still the trademark of Barham with a massive bunker located at the foot of the green. The 9th, which is set to rival “Gallipoli” is played from an elevated tee shot over the creek and onto the green surrounded by bunkers, a challenging new hole that will test any golfer’s prowess. The back nine is lined with Golden Wattle, Pine and Gum trees.
Clubhouse Facilities
Relax in our modern clubhouse and enjoy an icy cold drink on the balcony overlooking the 9th and 10th fairways as the sun settles slowly in the west to display a brilliant sunset.
Full bar facilities are available with catering in either the Sports Lounge or “Barham Chinese Gardens” restaurant. Live entertainment is provided throughout the weekend at the nearby Barham Services Club.
Our Golf Professional Rob McNaughton offers golf lessons from the rank amateurs through to the most experienced golfer.
Accommodation Facilities
Two styles of accommodation are available, either the Barham Golf Resort located on course, or the Barham All Seasons Motor Lodge situated directly opposite the Barham Services Club, both partners in the cluBarham chain.
The Barham Golf Resort offers 19 self-contained units, four luxury spa units and eight caravan ensuite sites. The Barham All Seasons Motor Lodge offers 28 modern rooms, with four spa suites.
